This piece is part of an estate collection of jewelry I got a year or so ago.
There were rhinestone spacers originally where the cicadas are on this necklace. They were totally deteriorated, but the rest of the piece was so gorgeous that I had the idea to just replace the rhinestones. Golden cicadas with a pop of deep green seemed like the perfect choice. This piece features one of the most gorgeous clasps I’ve ever seen, it’s shorter layer is is 25.5” in length, and the necklace is not adjustable.
Perfect for a layered look, or just on its own!
Vintage Disclaimer: This piece has been lightly cleaned by myself since I got the lot of jewelry it came in. It appears to be in perfectly good, wearable condition. It is very old however, and to be 100% honest I have had this piece stored in my studio, and I cannot guarantee how long vintage pieces will last when worn regularly. I also do not know the exact metal type of the piece either, and cannot say if it would be appropriate for those with nickel allergies, etc. Thank you :)
