Meet The Artist!
Hello, my name is Maddie.
I started Mushroom House Jewelry in 2013, as a teenager. I made jewelry and sold it off and on for a year or two, primarily in spas/salons. In the spring of 2020, I decided to revisit Mushroom House Jewelry as an adult, re-falling in love with creating my own jewelry designs.
Over time, I found myself consistently inspired by insects, the beautiful natural springs and swamplands around me, and the contrast between vegetation and concrete on abandoned buildings. Thus, the swamp-core aesthetic you all see now was born. I am also very inspired by grunge fashion, vintage brass wall decor, especially mirrors, and antique wooden furniture.
When I’m not making jewelry, you can find me spending time outdoors in sunny Florida with my husband and animals.
